Ginny Byrd

As a native Mobilian, I love all that our city has to offer. The outdoor activities are endless. I enjoy catching shows at the local playhouses and visiting our museums and art galleries. I enjoy heading downtown for fine dining and the nightlife. During Mardi Gras, I become a downtown resident to make sure I get the most out of carnival. I love the history, architecture, traditions, and the culture.   My husband and I were college sweethearts and are so proud that our daughter is a graduate of The University of South Alabama. We are ticket holders for the home football games and love tailgating, cheering on our Jags and seeing old friends, and making new ones. We also adore our chocolate labs and heading off to the hunting camp when we can.   Real estate was always a dream, and I am so thankful that I have been able to make it a reality. To me, it’s not about the houses, it’s about the people. No matter how many deals I am working on or what I have going on, it is important to me for my clients to feel that they are my top priority. My goal is to make their real estate goals a reality. Working with Taylor is such a blessing. We have the same work ethic and complement each other’s talents. It is amazing to have someone I can count on when needed, bounce ideas off and consult with. I know she makes me a better agent. I am truly thankful and blessed.

I grew up in Laurel, Mississippi, and completed a life-long dream of graduating from Mississippi State University in 2015. During college, I decided to test the waters of real estate and found it was the perfect fit for me. A couple of years after graduation, I finally married my high school sweetheart, and we decided to start our new life together in Mobile with our lab/Catahoula. In 2021, we completed our little family with the addition of a silly little blonde hair, blue-eyed baby boy. He’s not the most helpful assistant right now, but he sure is cute! As a family of four, we love to travel, hunt, fish, and somedays just watch Netflix in our pjs.

I believe knowledge is a huge key to being successful, so I strive to learn new things as often as possible. I have a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from MSU and often find myself using quite a few of those lessons for work. I’ve had a real estate license since 2014, and each year I try to get at least one more designation or certification. I am almost ready to take the broker exam in Alabama and Mississippi. Hopefully, I can put a check next to that bucket list item soon! Real estate is way more than just putting a sign in the yard. I want my clients and customers to be comfortable and confident when we take on the real estate market together.

The best part of working with The Key Team, besides our winning personalities and fun senses of humor, is that you get two dedicated agents committed to helping you reach your real estate goals. Along with over 12 years of real estate experience and stories, we also have a huge network of other professionals to help in every aspect of home ownership. When you need a trusty electrician, landscaper, plumber, roofer, etc., make sure you call The Key Team first! You’re more than just a transaction to us. We want to be your real estate agents for life.
